Sound Vintage Sound, a senior quartet representing the Chico Chapter was formed on May 3, 2000. Its members include Bill “Duke” Andrus, Tenor; Hec Rivas, Lead; Bill Stenzel, Baritone and Leeds Lacy, Bass. The quartet members boast of more than 180 years of barbershop harmony experience with Hec Rivas and Bill Stenzel having more than 50 years each.
The quartet performs regularly at weddings, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, county fairs, church services and civic events. For the past several years they have been the featured performers at the Paul Bunyan Days Festival in Fort Bragg, California. The quartet is committed to continuing its performances throughout Northern California.
